Throughout my 25 year career as an editor, what I have valued the most is the feeling of holding the key to open endless creative doors. I've been fortunate to edit in all kinds of genres and I have relished my role in shaping narrative, character and emotion.  A member of the British Guild of Editors, I have a proven track record in delivering compelling high-end documentary films and docudrama for streamers and channels including Disney+, Netflix, CH4, BBC, NGCI, Discovery + and more.
The most important thing I've learnt in my career is that the editing must be at the service of the film and that this can be achieved by listening to the director and then bringing my own instinct and natural aptitude for storytelling to the project.
With an intuitive feel for pacing, music, and sound design, my aim is to edit with a sense of scale and cinematic ambition whilst applying great attention to detail. I’m a ‘go-to’ trouble-shooter with a reputation for turning around edits in crisis and creatively collaborating with Directors, Producers, Showrunners and Commissioners to realise the full potential of the story.
